Sunday the 11th of April 2010, 'The Russian War' will be broadcasted on TV Noord-Holland, the regional broadcaster which can be seen on digital cable television throughout the Netherlands.

       The Russian War premieres on Texel
Finally 'The Russian War' will have its premiere on the island where everything happened: Texel. The premiere will be on Tuesday the 2nd of March 2010 in Cinema Texel, Den Burg, 20.00.

       The Russian War at IDFA 2009
'The Russian War' had three almost sold-out screenings at the International Documentary Filmfestival in Amsterdam (www.idfa.nl). During the q&a's after the screening new eyewitnesses in the audience told their stories. The audience awarded the film with an average 8.23/10.

       The Russian War at Tbilisi Film Festival 2009
'The Russian War' had a special premiere at the Tbilisi Filmfestival 2009. One of the two still surviving eyewitnesses attended the screening. The film was introduced by a Georgian historian who compared 'The Russian War' as a human war story against the heroic manner in which the history used to be portrayed in Georgia. www.tbilisifilmfestival.ge
